Sustainability
Our life on planet Earth affects nature, our community, our
health and our well-being. This not only affects us in the present, but also
has an impact on the lives of our children and grandchildren, that is, on all
future generations. The discussion around the terms sustainability
and sustainable development brings into focus the question of how we can create
inter- and intragenerational equity and promote healthy stewardship of our
natural living environment.
