Event organizer is the partner that organizes the event, based on our Description of Work document. Usually, the one that organizes the event, is also responsible for putting together the course that is needed to support the event. I hope I have understood your question.
Good Morning,
thank you very much for your kind reply. Would it be possible to send me the "description of work" -document so I can save it for me (and not ask questions twice, if I forget it ;).
Let me summarize it: when the event organiser is the one, who is putting together the course (in case of OW2 CorEdu), how we call the team Bart (who was supporting OW2 in announcing, informing participants, etc?) and are you then the "tech support" because you supported us in all questions related to moodle?
but maybe if you could send me the description of work-document all my questions become clear.
p.s. maybe it would be possible to put the definition of the roles in the matrix
Event organiser | Tech support | Dissemination lead |
thank you. have a good day.
kind regards

I get the point now. I will check to see if we can rephrase a bit so that it becomes clearer.
As a first response to what you're asking, what I have understood, is that there are essentially the following parts here:
- WP Leader: Consulting and supporting on a high-level for each event
- Event organizer: Takes care of everything related to the event (course creation, registration of participants, communication with participants, etc)
- Tech support: Eummena - to solve issues and answer questions about the platform
- Dissemination lead: That works on a project level and will promote the material created by the event organizer, to various channels (there's a chance here that the Dissemination lead also supports with the creation of a brochure for the event)
That's how I understand this, but don't take my word for it, I would prefer to raise this in a project meeting to clarify once more, as I think it has been discussed in the past a bit, but maybe it wasn't made clear enough.
Dear Nikos,
thank you again for your fast and clear explanation. I was a little bit confused by the role "event organiser" as CorEdu was the one, who created the course, but all other actions you mentioned in the description of this role (registration of the participants, communication with the participants) was done by Bart.
I think, for the future, if we at CorEdu should take also the part for registration of participants and communication with them, as Bart did it for us for OW2, we would need a short briefing. It was something which we very appreciated that Bart took over, but of course, we are open to do it by our own.
But I am fine for now, I think it is not a big issue which would hinder my current work. so it is okay.
have a good day.
kind regards
Eszter
Thank you for your response, it's 100% clear.
On a related not, I am happy to see how this forum can work for our discussions.
