Hello!
And welcome to this online TAP-TS workshop on teaching sustainability with scenario based learning. In this course you will mainly take the role of students and operate in the framework of a fictitious story. The narrative describes the plans to develop an island in the south of Europe. You will need to come up individually and in teams with the best possible decisions to find a compromise between sustainability, environmental issues, well-being and economic prosperity.
Of course this online learning event aims at teachers and so you will also wear the cap of classroom practitioners. You will on the power of scenario based learning, techniques of serious games and role play as a framework to build discussion and critical thinking skills, as well as student engagement.
