1. Summary
Future Workshop: A Future with or without Technology?
In this workshop, participants will go through the future workshop method. The focus is on the question of the extent to which there will be a future with or without digital technologies and what this future should look like.
Reflection
Finally, participants are given time to take notes on the units so that they can reflect on them again in the final online session.
2. Start Up
The
unit begins with a video that introduces current digital developments
and looks at them from different perspectives. Among other things, the
terms robotics, artificial intelligence and digital capitalism are
explained. Furthermore, reference is made to questions of social,
ecological and economic sustainability.

At the end of this Unit, the participants are able to:
... define current concepts on developments in the IT sector and enter into a discussion about them.
... work with others on future concepts and outline developments.
... define and argue measures for a more sustainable development in the IT sector.
3. Development

The material is available as a booklet to print out and also as
worksheets in DinA4 format. It is also possible to edit and adapt the
worksheets individually.
