    • The Cyprus Pedagogical Institute was the organizing and host institution of the 1st Summer School. For the whole procedure and implementation of the Summer School a group of five teacher trainers from CPI constituted the Summer School organizing group: Pavlina Hadjitheodoulou-Loizidou, Maria Eracleous, Maria Pitzioli, Efi Paparistodemou and Christina Stavrou. Also, two qualified teachers, who work for the Unit of Education for the environment and Sustainable Development (Cyprus Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport) worked closely with the Summer School organizing group to organize and offer the field-work activities at Malama Beach and the reflection regarding those outdoor activities: Constandinos Phanis and George Fyttis.

      Moreover, the contribution of the Head of Unit of Education for the environment and Sustainable Development, Aravella Zachariou, was significantly important for sharing policy insights and practical approaches for teaching sustainability and for optimizing and finalizing sessions and activities of the summer school. Furthermore, five other qualified teachers of the Unit of Education for the environment and Sustainable Development worked closely with Aravella Zachariou to organize and offer the activities at Cape Greco Environmental Education Centre: Simoni Partakidou, Efi Dareiou, Kyriakos Kefalas, Nicolas Papanicolas and Anna Sergiou.

      Last, but not least, four more officers of the CPI contributed to the secretarial support and financial management: Maria Chimona, Dona Nikiforou-Koutti, Maria Papamichael and Ioanna Theotokatou.

      The summer school sessions organized for piloting material from the LTPs (WP2) were offered by colleagues from partner institutions: EUMENNA, PHWien, TUDresden, UCDublin, PISantarem and FSGPirna. The three members of the Pedagogical Advisory Group, Leon Tikly, Sofia Avgitidou and Gemma Molenaar, contributed to the reflection session.

      Finally, colleagues from K&R Education were responsible for the evaluation sessions, while Rachel Bowden, as the project coordinator leaded the partners’ meetings.
