      This course includes online webinars and a three-day in-person event in Santarém. This event is a chance for further engagement, reflection and exchange of practical learning for teaching sustainability.

      The target groups are student teachers, in-service teachers and teacher educators, mainly of primary education.       

    • The Active Learning Event 4 theme is "Sustainability for primary education: The voice of teachers!"

      It aims to straight the relations between student teachers, in-service teachers and educators to reflect about teaching sustainability in primary education. 

      This Active Learning Event 4 will contribute to foster international networking and sharing of experiences between educators, in-service teachers and student teachers. 

      Learning Objectives  

      • Collaboratively discuss opportunities for sustainability education in different learning contexts.

      • Plan and develop practices that help learners to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes to promote sustainability competences. 

      • Reflect on and share practices, as well as students’ work, that contribute to promoting ways of thinking and acting that specifically encourage reflection, responsibility, and care for our planet. 

      • Interact and collaborate with each other to develop an international community of practice focuses on teaching sustainability.
